About Us

Artist Mateo Gonzalez

A United States Navy Veteran who served from 2013 to 2017. During his Navy career, while stationed in Florida, Mateo first became familiar with Scalp Micro-pigmentation (SMP) on a friend who had recently had the treatment done.

Blown away by the natural looking results, and dealing with his own struggles with hair-loss, he was very intrigued by the process.
Mateo, at 21 years old, started noticing his hair was thinning. Not knowing what to do (still unaware of SMP) he decided to get a hair transplant. After seeing the SMP results on his Florida friend, he dug deeper into the SMP world.
After his 4 year service in the Navy, he exited, moved to Vista, CA and decided he would take a training course in SMP.

Soon after, he found his passion for the art of SMP and made it his full time job.

Currently, Mateo has his own practice and is doing what he does best by restoring confidence to each and every one of his clients.
